This was part of a party we held at work in celebration of Mother's Day. I was put in charge of trying to make a fruit bouquet. Because of it's size it didn't come out quite like the cute ones you can get through some companies, but I think it turned out well enough just the same. MUCH harder than it looks since the fruit is much heavier than I first assumed - it was tough to keep some of the spikes upright.

What's holding it all together at the center - magic!?!?

Nice to hear from you on here again!!

Your arrival has been hailed as the third most improbable event in the history of the universe.

What were the first two?

Oh, probably just coincidences.

hahaha Thank you.

The center is actually a head of cabbage, although I think lettuce would have been more suitable - we just didn't have a spare in house. It's concealed with kale so you can't see it.

It worked out beautifully!! My daughters husband bought one for my daughter through one of those very expensive companies. The only difference is better fruit if you do it yourself. we through away the grapes. They did cuts made of star shapes mostly pineapple worked for that. They dipped the large strawberries in chocolate. Which was what we all ate first. Looks just as beautiful. You saved a lot of money too!

Yea, the one I looked at had dipped strawberries, and I HAVE seen one with star shaped pineapple, but that isn't hard to do if you actually have a star shaped cookie cutter. Can't say our kitchen keeps those in abundance. I've never priced one out so I have no idea what the cost difference is. If it's that significant I should open up my own fruit making company. ;) Thank you for the fav!

Thank you very much for the feature then! I can't say I've had that happen ever.
